开发新型单相荧光粉,并探究其在发光二极管器件中的应用是当前的研究热点。采用高温固相法,通过多步烧成合成了Ba3Y2B6O15:Dy3+(BYB:Dy)荧光粉,并重点探讨BYB:Dy荧光粉的结构特征和发光性能。X射线衍射和离子掺杂半径比计算结果表明,Dy3+离子能够很好地进入Ba3Y2B6O15主晶格中,无杂相生成,并取代Y3+的位点,由于Dy3+离子半径大于Y3+离子半径,会增大晶胞参数。荧光光谱结果显示,BYB:Dy荧光粉可被紫外光有效激发,在最佳激发波长(351 nm)的激发下,分别产生在409 nm处的宽峰,以及在481、580和678 nm处的尖峰;其中,宽峰来源于BYB基质合成过程中的氧间隙(Oi)缺陷,属于蓝光发射带,而尖峰来源于Dy3+的4F9/2→6HJ/2(J=15,13,11)能级跃迁,属于蓝光与黄光发射带,色度坐标表明了荧光粉的发光属于蓝白光区域。由于BYB基质具有高度对称的晶体场环境及紧密的多面体,使得BYB:Dy荧光粉具有优异的发光性能和稳定性,同时补充了蓝色发射,增加了荧光粉的色纯度,因此该荧光粉在白光发光二极管领域具有良好的应用前景。
Abstract:
Developing novel single-phase phosphors and exploring their applications in light emitting diode devices is a current research focus. In this study,Ba3Y2B6O15:Dy3+(BYB:Dy) phosphors were synthesized via the high-temperature solid-state method with multiple-step firings,and their structural characteristics and luminescence properties were investigated. The results of X-ray diffraction and ion doping radius ratio calculations demonstrate that Dy3+ ions can successfully incorporate into the main lattice of Ba3Y2B6O15 without generating impurity phases,and substitute the sites of Y3+,which leads to larger cell parameters due to the fact that the radius of Dy3+ is larger than that of Y3+. The fluorescence spectroscopy results indicate that the BYB:Dy phosphors can be effectively excited by ultraviolet light. When excited by the optimal wavelength (351 nm),broad peaks at 409 nm and sharp peaks at 481,580,and 678 nm are respectively generated;the broad peaks originated from the oxygen interstitial (Oi) defects during the synthesis of the BYB matrix belong to the blue emission band,while the sharp ones from the 4F9/2→6HJ/2(J=15,13,11) energy level transitions of Dy3+ correspond to the blue and yellow emission bands. The chromaticity coordinates show that the luminescence of the phosphors belongs to the blue-white light region. Due to the highly symmetric crystal field environment and close-packing polyhedra of the BYB matrix,the BYB:Dy phosphors exhibit excellent luminescence performance and stability,supplement the blue emission and enhance the color purity of the phosphors,thereby having a promising application prospect in the field of white light emitting diodes.
